Wiston House Wedding Photographer Ian and Daniel
Wiston House was looking its stunning self as i drove up the long drive way through the Wilton Park Estate for Ian and Daniel’s Wedding Ceremony. The approach always adds to the excitement of shooting at Wiston House.
After a quick look around to check the amazing rooms, i met up with the guys for a few informal portraits before the ceremony. This took place in the Ball Room at Wiston House, overlooking the countryside. After a lovely poignant ceremony, the couple greeted their guests before leading them through to the library for drinks. As has far too frequently been the case this year, the weather was very mixed meaning i had to take advantage of every opportunity to create images outside in the lovely grounds of Wiston House.
The group shots were taken in the conservatory, which is a god send for such situations. I always like to think about the comfort of the guests, wherever possible. Once the rain abated, i went off with Ian and Daniel for some shots away from the crowd, where they were able to switch off and relax for a short while, before heading back as the heavens opened once again.
Of course the beauty of venues such as Wiston House is that no matter what happens weather wise, there are always plenty of options for great images!
The wedding breakfast took place in the awesome Great Hall. This magnificent room was decorated with pumpkins to compliment the time of year. As ever it looked amazing!
After a couple of opening speeches, dinner was served. The meal was neatly dove tailed with the final speeches, before we moved into the lounges for the cake cutting and coffee.
I left after the first dance and a fabulous day at a stunning venue.
Thank to Jo and her team at Wiston House for making it all so effortless and of course to Ian and Daniel for allowing me to be their photographer on a very special day.
Here are a few favourite moments from their day.
