How to Avoid Running with the Hounds
I am very excited to announce that i will be holding my new wedding photography training seminar in Sussex this autumn! After being approached by a number of people, i am now able to confirm the date for this very special wedding photography training seminar that is going to be held in the stunning seaside town of Eastbourne, on Thursday 7th November 2013. Places are very strictly limited and available on a first come first served basis. My recent seminars and workshops have all sold out very quickly so please be quick to get in touch if you fancy joining me on what i expect to be a fun but terrific day of learning.
Unlike most seminars, i keep numbers LOW to ensure everyone has the opportunity to get as much out of the course as possible. Remember that training is an investment for your business and fully tax deductable.
why you should attend
My wedding photography training is perfect for anyone wanting to build a wedding business or improve their lot into today’s challenging market place. Since the advent of digital the life of a professional wedding photographer has become so much harder where it seems every man and his dog has a digital SLR and is a photographer. The over saturation of the market means now more than ever it is important to stand out from the crowd; to do this you need to be able to offer a service and product that is way beyond the reach of the nation’s “Uncle Bobs”.
I have created this wedding photography training seminar for those trying to avoid running with the hounds. Its perfect for those wanting an insight into my approach to ensuring i stay ahead of the game despite being a professional wedding photographer for 17 years. Unlike so many trainers, i still shoot all year round and generate 100% of my income from my professional photography business. In deed i have covered in excess of 800 weddings of all sizes and budgets and have seen most things. I will share advice and hints based on real world experiences. My seminars are very relaxed, welcoming as well as being BS, ego and hype free.
If you attend this wedding photography training workshop and feel free to bring along your it as it includes a large practical element, especially with regard to working indoors. This will be of great benefit to those shooting low light winter weddings.
The day starts at 10am with regsitration at 9.30 and runs until 4.30 (or whenever we end up finishing).

Photographing Groups well but quickly and without fuss
The afternoon session of this wedding photography training workshop, is primarily practical, so please feel free to bring along your camera bag.
Peter will demonstrate his approach and methods for creating images that the average guest with a camera or “Uncle Bob” simply wouldn’t be able to to. Using his vast experience he will share his lighting, posing and composition ideas that really separates him from his main competition.
Everything will be explained and done at walking pace so that each delegate will be able to ask questions, watch, learn and even take their own pictures for reference.
The shoot will be indoors and out (weather permitting) with ample time for attendees of this very special wedding photography workshop to create their own images.
Peter will be on hand to offer advice and guidance as required.
The images Peter creates will be edited once he is back home and shared on a secure gallery, together with notes. Delegates will be given access to these of course.
Coffee and a run through of a full wedding shot by Peter
Peter is very laid back, honest and open. His wedding photography training seminars reflect this and so anyone attending is encouraged to ask questions as they arise. Whether you are just starting out, or been photographing weddings for years, each person is treated the same so Peter always welcomes and answers every question openly and happily. If you prefer not to ask in front others, always feel free to ask over a coffee or during lunch.

Here’s what a few very kind folks had to say about my recent seminars in Sussex.
Highly recommend Peters seminars if you are passionate and want to gain knowledge for wedding photography and business .
Peters methods are old school and classic way of achieving a timeless look.
His way of teaching is hands on which I find is the best way to learn, he goes in to posing and lighting for bride and groom and what to look for. Anything with wedding photography that baffles you or you want an answer too Peter can come up with an answer right away due to the experience he has , and isn’t scared to share his knowledge.
And being at the Grand Hotel is a fantastic venue and building and to shoot at and like Peter a timeless classic photographer.
Peter, I just wanted to email and say thank you for the course on Saturday at Park Cameras. You have opened my eyes a lot more to the ins and outs of wedding photography and also made me realise I have a lot of work to do before I start doing weddings myself.
Thanks again for your advice.
Thank you for the great wedding photography workshop last Saturday at Park Cameras, you have refreshed my enthusiasm and drive to swap my IT career for a photography career!!
Also if you ever need a bag man or someone to hold your iPhone for lighting purposes, I would love to help out on one of your shoots..
I attended your course last Saturday and I found it really interesting and picked up some really good ideas from you so thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Firstly thanks for a great day yesterday at park cameras. I found your information to be very useful in my dream to one day work for myself doing what I love.
Will you be running any more training days in the future as unfortunately I can’t make it in may.
Thank you for putting on a great seminar yesterday. I found the seminar well composed and very resourceful! So well done. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the seminar to others.
All the best,
Many thanks for the workshop yesterday. I am at the very beginning of setting up, and looking to do this in parallel to my day job so knowing that you managed this is great to know.
Again, Many thanks for the informative course. My wife runs a wedding cake business and I even managed to pick up some tips that would help her so I managed to squeeze even more value out of it.
