All Saints Chapel Eastbourne

All Saints Chapel Eastbourne Wedding

Shengnan and John were recommended my services by the wonderful Eastbourne Grand Hotel. I am very honoured to be the recommended photographer for such an amazing venue.

Their wedding was just a few days before Christmas and the ceremony was to be held at what can only be described as the magnificent and magical All Saints Chapel, in the Meads, Eastbourne. The chapel is simply stunning and i am so excited to be shooting there again in 2014!

Unfortunately, it was a wet and cold day for Shengnan and John’s wedding. It’s conditions like these when experience and skill really comes to the fore and as i love shooting in challenging and low light, i was really up for it.

After the civil ceremony, there followed drinks in the chapel before it was time for the family group shots on the beautiful altar. Then after a few shots of the couple they left for a drive along Eastbourne seafront. I met them by the Wish Tower to create a few images with the pier in the background. The light was fading quickly and combined with the drizzle i had to be quick!

Once safely inside the Grand Hotel, i created some very special images of Shengnan and John using the staircases and fabulous Christmas trees, before leaving them to enjoy a drinks reception in the East Quarter. This was followed by the wedding breakfast in the Princes Room.

It was great to work alongside my good friend and Toastmaster Stephen Hall once again. The flowers were by the wonderful Beau-K, car by Premier Wedding Cars and the makeup by Jenny at Finishing Touches.

The slideshow shows a few images of the day.
