Hastings Wedding Photographer Danielle and John
Danielle and John were married at the same church that i was: St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Hellingly.
I started the photography at Danielle’s parent’s house in Hailsham. After capturing the pre wedding chaos i drove to Hellingly to photograph John and the guys as the guests arrived.
Danielle arrived in a fabulous Beaufort car and was met by her bridesmaids at the top of the path. Following the ceremony i took the opportunity to photograph the groups in the church grounds before we all set off to Hastings and the Azur, which is right on the seafront.
A brief reccee apart, this was my first time at the Azur. The venue is right on the beach, so perfect for a sunny summer wedding reception.
There was a very relaxed hour for the guests to chill out, enjoy a drink and catch before the wedding breakfast. Speeches followed the meal and then Danielle and John cut their beautiful wedding cake. This had been made by Danielle’s lovely Mum.
Then, as the light had now softened, we went for a relaxed walk along the promenade towards Hastings Pier. It was early evening so there weren’t too many people about and this gave me the perfect opportunity to create some lovely images of the couple with the pressure off.
On our return, the couple joined the guests who were enjoying the lovely summer’s evening, chatting and drinking outside the venue, over looking the beach and the sea.
The first dance followed before i slipped away to drive home.
