I was privileged to photograph the wedding of Eileen and Lee in March. The whole event took place at the George Hotel, Rye, East Sussex on an unseasonably sunny and warm day. The George offered me an opportunity to capture images showing the amazing atmosphere of the hotel. Being located in the centre of the smuggler’s town of Rye, it was full of character and i loved walking up through the historic, narrow streets at the bottom of the hill.
Its always wonderful to hear that all of my hard work and passion for a couple’s wedding has paid off.
Lee and Eileen popped over on Monday evening to collect their stunning album and we very pleased indeed. Its always a relief as well as a great feeling when you see happy clients.
Over night i was very excited to receive this lovely email from them and i thought i would share it here.

On your website you ask “How important is your wedding photography?” Well, after seeing the pictures that you took of ours, my answer would be, as important as remembering one of the best days of your life. The day is over so quickly, it was the closest I would describe to an outer body experience. Thanks to your beautiful photography, I was able to slow it down and relive the day all over again. Each and every picture is a work of art, and the album is put together with care and skilful precision.
We love your work and the way you work. The last thing you want on the big day is added pressures, but you made us feel that we could leave it all in your hands. You actually felt more like a guest, just with a bigger camera and if not a guest, a master of invisibility. We are so happy that you were able to do our wedding and we wouldn’t think twice about asking you again, maybe when the babies start coming J
