Powdermills Hotel Wedding Photographer Janette and Colin’s Wedding
Wedding Photographer Sussex Powdermills Hotel Wedding Photographer
Photographing a wedding at the Powdermills Hotel, near Battle in East Sussex is always exciting. Its a stunning venue set in magnificent grounds, featuring beautiful lakes both to the front and rear of the venue. As a recommended photographer of the venue, i have been fortunate enough to cover many weddings there and i always look forward to working there.
Janette and Colin’s wedding was a wonderfully, informal affair.
Coverage started at home with me documenting the preparations and meeting the family. The house was buzzing!
Then after a short drive, i arrived at the Powdermills to capture the rest of the day. Colin and his son (who was best man) were waiting for Janette and the bridesmaids to arrive.
The ceremony was held in the Music Room before the guests were able to enjoy drinks outside before i spent a few minutes with the couple to capture portraits of them and the stunning car, which was provided by Rye Classics.
The wedding breakfast took place back in the Music Room and i have the say the food was superb! Following dinner i took the opportunity to photograph the closer family members in very informal groups in one of the lounges before we were entertained by a Rat Pack singer and a BBQ on the front lawn.
Thank you to Stella and the team for making it so easy and for looking after me during the day.
Below are a few moments from what was a lovely day. All were taken on my Nikon D3s using a combination of lenses.
