Wiston House Wedding Photographer
Being a recommended Wiston House Wedding Photographer means that i have been extremely fortunate to cover many weddings at one of the UK’s top venues.
Wiston House has it all. A stunning setting, breathtaking house and even its own ancient church! It also is blessed with terrific staff and all this added together is a recipe for the perfect wedding very time.
Helen and Andy’s midweek wedding was a low key, informal affair. The ceremony took place in the Great Hall. What a wonderfully dramatic room to get married in! After the marriage, there followed a drinks reception on the back lawns and terrace.
I left the couple and guests to enjoy chatting for a while. Then i sneaked off with Helen and Andy to create a few fabulous images of them alone together in the magnificent grounds of the Wilton Park Estate. We had been very lucky with the weather, before light drizzle set in, so i photographed the family groups in the wonderful conservatory on the end of the house before the wedding breakfast.
The meal took place in the Ball Room and the guests were entertained by the talented and very funny Main Course Singing Waiters . The meal desended into a party atmosphere after the main course with all the guests joining in the fun.
A couple of speeches followed the meal and then everybody retired to the library for the cake cutting. A clown was onsite to entertain the children before the first dance back in the Great Hall.
As i left i grabbed an image of a flood lit Wiston House; the perfect way to end the album telling the story of a fantastic day!
As usual all the images were captured on my Nikon D3s using environmental light in an attempt to really record the atmosphere of the day.
