Lympne Castle Wedding Photographer Tabitha and Stephen
The last time i had photographed a Lympne Castle wedding it was on a stunning but freezing winter’s day, between Christmas and New Year. This was the first time i had covered a wedding at Lympne Castle in the summer and was very pleased to set off to the church in Tenterden, Kent on a beautifully sunny day. It was perfect!
Tabitha and Stephen had booked me to cover their wedding a year before their big day. When they told me that their reception was to be held at Lympne Castle, i was very excited about being their wedding photographer. I knew from past experience, what a wonderful venue it was.
The ceremony was held at St Michael’s and All Angels Church in Tenterden. Tabitha got ready with her bridesmaids and family just down the road in the town.
Following a lovely ceremony, and after a few family shots, the guests all climbed aboard a red London bus for the 40 minute drive across country to Lympne Castle. Once there we were able to enjoy the stunning views across the levels to the English Channel. Being blessed by such a beautiful day, we could clearly see the French coastline in the distance.
Tabitha was really interested in me covering the day in as natural and relaxed way as possible, but also wanted some fabulous images of her together with Stephen enjoying a very special time in their lives. To be honest it was very refreshing to have 15 minutes or so to create images around the castle grounds. Better still, i was able to create some extra special images in the evening of Tabitha and then again under the blue moon late into the night.
I have to say that this wedding coverage had it all. Great locations, lovely people and couple and following very entertaining speeches the dancing and music was terrific as well. I can’t wait to shoot at Lympne Castle again very soon.
