The Old Rectory Wedding Photographer Emma and Seamus
My career as a Wedding Photographer sees me covering weddings all over the UK (and beyond). Emma and Seamus’ wedding took place in Cradley, Malvern in Worcestershire. The venue was The Old Rectory in Cradley and it was basically stunning! Set next to St James the Great Church, it looked amazing in the autumn sunshine.
Emma and Seamus had discovered my work on recommendation from another leading wedding photographer. I am fortunate to network with a few of the top guys in the industry and we frequently share leads when we are booked.
It was a long drive from Sussex, but the trip went smoothly and on arriving at the picture postcard village, i knew it had been work the mileage. The owners of the Old Rectory was lovely and welcoming, even ensuring i had a cup of tea before i started work. As the church and venue were joined by a gate in the wall, the logistics were simple which is always a relief for any wedding photographer!
I photographed Emma getting ready, before meeting Seamus and his best man. The it was back into the house to capture Emma as she walked with her Dad to the church. The ceremony was lovely and then it was outside to enjoy the afternoon sun and the drinks reception.
The brief was for a relaxed and informal coverage with just a few groups shots, but i took advantage of the setting and weather to create a few images of the couple together before the sit down.
The marquee was a picture and following the wedding breakfast, the guests were entertained by some very amusing speeches before Emma and Seamus cut their beautiful wedding cake. After the formalities were completed i slipped away to drive the 200 miles home, having really enjoyed the day.
