Wiston House Weddings David and Sigridur

I love photographing weddings at Wiston House.  Located north of Worthing, West Sussex, Wiston House is one of the UK’s leading wedding venues and there can’t be a more stunning location on a sunny spring day! Even after shooting in excess of 50 weddings at this magnificent venue, i still feel the hairs stand up on the back of my neck as i drive up the long winding driveway though the Wilton Park estate. Its a breathtaking place!

David and Sigridur contacted me on recommendation of the venue after viewing my portfolio on my website .They only required shorter coverage for their intimate wedding and as it was at Wiston House, i worked with them to put together a package to suit their needs.

It was my second wedding of the weekend and arriving to glorious spring sunshine i couldn’t wait to get started. I found David and the guys in the little church and captured some candid story telling moments before heading off to find the bride. 

The church blessing was the major part of their day and working very discreetly i managed to capture a number of wonderful moments before everyone went into the main house to enjoy drinks and canapes. I spent a few minutes with the couple creating some portraits in the beautiful grounds as we had to make use of the fabulous weather. This was followed by a few small family groups before slipping away.

Thank you to Francis and the team at Wiston House on the day for making it so easy to work around a very short and potentially tricky timescale.
