Brighton Wedding Photographer Emma and Matthew
I love being a Brighton Wedding Photographer as shooting in our local city offers so many possibilities. Brighton is a city full of energy, so cosmopolitan and stylish.
Emma and Matthew both got ready at the simply special Drakes Hotel, a boutique hotel opposite the Pier. Inside it is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are first class as were the staff.
After capturing the important preparations it was off to Brighton Town Hall in the world famous Lanes. We travelled in Taxis to make life easier for all. Brighton Town Hall is stunning inside. The architecture upstairs really gives a Brighton Wedding Photographer a wonderful back drop to work with.
After a a brief shoot inside, we ventured out into the square to be met by a wall of confetti. Then it was off round the Lanes for some more images of Emma and Matthew before we walked to the seafront and then on to the reception venue, The Terraces, which again was opposite the Pier above Madeira Drive.
The reception was very laid back and the speeches entertaining. After which everyone went outside to launch Chinese Lanterns, which drifted out over the Big Wheel towards the sea. The first dance followed after which i slipped away to allow the guests to enjoy the rest of the evening.
Emma and Matthew’s wedding was a breathe of fresh hour to photograph. As a Brighton Wedding Photographer it was terrific to be able to create some relaxed posed images for a change, using my amazing 180 f2.8 Nikon lens.Whilst shooting in among the commotion of the Lanes this lens enabled me to isolate the couple from the crowds giving the images a real sense of atmosphere. I love this lens’ compact size and light weight as well as its fast f2.8 aperture and of course the superb image quality.
