East Sussex Wedding Photographer The Grand Hotel Eastbourne
Caroline and Andrew booked me on recommendation of the wonderful Grand Hotel in Eastbourne. I simply love working at the hotel! Its a stunning venue in a great location by the sea and has fabulous staff.
The plan was to keep the photography relaxed and low key: perfect for my style!
Being a November wedding, i knew that the majority of the photography would take place inside. Not a problem as the Grand has a stunning interior and i knew some great locations which would enable me to create some beautiful images in a short space of time.
Caroline’s preparations took place at the hotel, and this enabled me to easily photography Andrew and his best man. The ceremony took place in the Dukes Room, before a drinks reception was held in the East Quarter, just off of the Concourse. They had the wonderful harpist, Fiona Hosford for the afternoon too.
After a few relaxed family photos, i took Caroline and Andrew off around the hotel for a few informal images together. The staircases and architecture really lend themselves to great low light images. Then we captured a fun confetti sequence just as the light was going outside, before the receiving line.
The wedding breakfast was in the Princes Room. Following the speeches and cake cutting, the evening celebrations and dancing took place in the Compton Room.
I enjoyed working alongside my good friend and Toastmaster, Stephen Hall again. He always makes things so easy for the photographer!
