Eastbourne Wedding Photographer Melanie and Mark
It was the first wedding of a new year! Fortunately, despite such an awful few weeks of very wet and stormy weather, we were blessed with a relatively calm day. Winter weddings are always a challenge that i love undertaking and as i type the miserable stuff is well and truly back so again. We did well for the wedding! I am hoping the weather is kind to me for the remaining January weddings that i have in the diary.
I have known Mark and Melanie for a while. Both are excellent photographers and so it was very exciting to be asked to photograph their special day. Working for photographers always adds pressure but it certainly helps when they love my style and approach.
The intimate wedding ceremony took place at Eastbourne Town Hall, in Grove Road. Its a lovely listed building with plenty of atmosphere and opportunities for great photos. Add to this, that the Registrars who are all so friendly and helpful, it usually makes for a good day for an Eastbourne Wedding Photographer like me.
Melanie and Mark came into the ceremony room together and were married in front of a few select close family and friends. After which i captured some spontaneous moments as everyone congratulated the newlyweds. Then i created some images of Melanie and Mark inside the Town Hall, using the ceremony room and the fabulous staircase to really show off the architecture.
A few small family group shots followed before we relaxed over a drink in the Bibendem wine bar across the road.
The slideshow shows a few special moments form a lovely day.
