Sussex Baby Photographer Esther and Family
I always love it when wedding clients choose me to be their family photographer. Its a great compliment to my work and it certainly makes the whole portrait session more relaxed as they know how i work and already love my style.
Georgina and Paul were married at the wonderful Wiston House in West Sussex a couple of years ago. It was a very memorable wedding and i was really excited to be seeing them again and meeting their daughter Esther!
They traveled down from north Kent especially for the portrait session.
I always like to allow them to relax and after a coffee and getting to know Esther, it was down to work. I say “work” but i prefer to keep things very relaxed and like to go with the flow. This approach allows the baby or child to relax and feel comfortable: something that is paramount to enabling me to create my signature natural images.
Most of the pictures were shot using just natural window light, although at one point the light dropped so low that i had to introduce an Elinchrom head to lift the images This is did with the power turned right down to retain as much ambient light as possible, so that the set complimented each other as much as possible.
All in all Georgina, Paul and Esther were here for a couple of hours. it was really good to catch up, reliving their wedding day and hearing all about Esther’s first year of life.
