Baby Bump Photography Sussex Holli
As a specialist people photographer i love creating images for my clients at all stages of their lives. One of the most important moments in any woman’s life is the time carrying her baby. Holli wanted me to photograph her baby bump in the latter stages of her pregnancy and then to follow up with a newborn session in a month’s time.
My signature style, as always is relaxed, black and white imagery using natural light wherever possible. I love shooting by window light and used correctly this produces beautifully soft, directional light and soft tones. I love the look that this approach gives to my work and going by feedback, my clients do too.
The session took place here and lasted about an hour as first we chatted over a coffee to ensure i knew what Holli was after and to explain how i work. This enabled Holli to be very relaxed before the camera came out!
Lighting was from our fabulous bay window off to the left as we look at the images in the slideshow, with the only prop being a Chesterfield sofa.
After the session the images were subtly processed to avoid the cliche´d over processed look that abound the internet these days. The aim is produce a timeless look to my images that will be enjoyed for a lifetime.
The slideshow shows a handful of the images from the session. All were shot on my trusty Nikon using a 24-70 2.8 lens. Keeping the kit simple, helps to keep the shoot flowing and much more relaxed for my clients.
