I love shooting portraits in my usual artistic editorial style. My passion is for low light, low key black and white imagery, preferably created in a relaxed, natural fashion allowing me to show the personalities of my clients rather than having to fuss about with too much formal posing.
These images of were fashioned near the Embankment the day after Claire and James’ wedding. I arrived early for a celebration they were holding for their friends and family so that we could create some beautifully relaxed images of them as a couple prior to the guests arriving. I had about fifteen minutes to work with.
The setting was simply stunning and the idea was to showcase the building and its architecture within the design of each image.
Inside was quite dark but low light photography is my speciality and using just small spools of light i was able to work fast.
