Mayfair Wedding Photographer Emilie and Dominic

London weddings fascinate me. As someone who lives on the sleepy East Sussex coast, the hustle, bustle and madness of the capital is always a mild shock to the system when i get off the train at Victoria Station.

My son Jacob assisted me on the day, carrying all the spare kit i usually stow away in the boot of my car.

After a short tube journey to Hyde Park Corner we walked up Park Lane to check out the Mayfair Library, the ceremony venue before walking through the streets to meet Emilie who was staying at the Dean Street Townhouse.

This was the first time i had met her in person, as i was booked after she found my website www.peterprior.com. Emilie and Dominic live and work overseas so we had a face to face chat via Skype a couple of weeks prior to their wedding day.

After covering the bridal preparations we jumped in a cab back to the Mayfair Library, where we met Dominic and a few of the guests. Emilie arrived in a London Black Cab and the couple went off to see the Regisatrars to go over the finer details before the ceremony commenced.

After a short ceremony we all moved to the park outside for photographs before heading off to the wonderful Browns Hotel in Mayfair. It was a sunny 20 minute walk across town and i took the opportunity to capture some images along the way.

Once at the Browns Hotel, i covered the relaxed drinks reception before leaving after the cake cutting as the wedding breakfast commenced.

The slideshow shows a few favourite moments of the wedding.
