Wroxall Abbey Wedding Photographer Jade and Luke

This was a wedding that i had been looking forward to for quite a while. Jade and Luke had booked me 14 months before their big day after seeing my work when down visiting family in Eastbourne.

It was a very early start for me to drive up to Warwickshire. I always prefer to set off long before the usual motorway madness. This gives me plenty of time should anything happen along the way as well as an opportunity to check out the venues for the wedding day.

I stopped off at the village of Barford to find the church before continuing on to Wroxall Abbey, where i had breakfast with Luke and his best man. Then it was off to find Jade and her bridesmaids to cover the preparations.

After a mixed start weather wise, the sun came out for Jade’s arrival at church. It remained with us for most of the day. The church was lovely and the vicar made life so easy for me to capture all the emotion of the ceremony.

The only slight blip in the weather, meant i had to photograph the bulk of the family groups shots in one of the lounges. Using beautiful window light meant it was no problem at all.

A break in the weather allowed me to spend a few minutes creating some informal images outside of Jade and Luke together.

Following the receiving line we all enjoyed a fabulous wedding breakfast. Speeches were before the cake cutting and first dance. When i had enough images of the evening in the bag i slipped away to my room after a long but fabulous day’s work.

The slideshow shows a few favourite moments of the day.
