Civil Partnership Photographer Sussex Irene and Marion
After a lot of planning i was really excited about being the photographer for Irene and Marion’s Civil Partnership at the wonderful Eastbourne Grand Hotel.
I had met this lovely couple of a number of occasions as well as photographing their Pre Wedding Session up at their beautiful home near Windsor. This meant i had a really good relationship with them before their Big Day and this certainly helped them to be relaxed around me.
Irene and Marion had gathered together some fabulous wedding vendors, many of whom i have had the privilege to work alongside for a number of years. It was like having the “A-Team” onboard. Unfortunately for the guys, i had to photograph as many of them as i could, but it was a fun thing to do.
After the preparations, the ceremony took place in the Princes’ Room and this was followed by a drinks reception in the East Quarter.
I photographed some very relaxed groups shots in the Concourse before taking Irene and Marion away for just ten minutes for some pictures together around the magnificent hotel. Again, i kept things low key and ultra relaxed to allow them to feel comfortable in front of my camera.
The wedding breakfast was held in the fabulous Compton Room. The attention to detail was superb. Irene and Marion had worked closely with the Grand, Elliot, Bows Hire, Grand Flowers and even Liz of Sylvia’s Kitchen to ensure their vision became a reality. They certainly pulled it off!
The evening entertainment didn’t disappoint either and i left having had a fabulous day.
Here are a few favourite moments.
