I am very pleased to announce a new training workshop for photographers that will be held here in East Sussex.
The course is perfect for those wanting an introduction to Lifestyle Portrait Photography and how to ensure good consistent results when photographing family, friends and clients alike.
It will have a large practical element with plenty of opportunities to create your own images and portfolio.

DATE: SUNDAY 12TH APRIL
Time: 11am-4pm
Where: at my place in Polegate, East Sussex
What’s included: The day will start with an introduction to my work over coffee, my approach to shooting portrait and a run through of sound techniques to help ensure correct use of light, exposure and posing.
Then i will demonstrate these techniques and a few ideas using a “real person” rather than a professional model. I will walk through each pose, shoot and then offer attendees to take their versions of each one, so that we can all create a variety of images, perfect for most portrait sessions.
After further refreshments, we will all go on location to shoot an actual family who have offered to model for a couple of hours. I will explain what i am looking for in terms of making the best of the location and light to ensure a great collection of images.
Access to an online gallery to view the images i created a few days after the event.
Please bring along your DSLR camera and memory cards as there will be plenty of shooting opportunities!
The course is strictly limited to 5 attendees to ensure everyone gets ample opportunity to shoot images.
Investment: £125.00 (includes coffee and biscuits)

Notes:
1: Please bring along a DSLR camera, lens and memory cards.
2: Come dressed for every kind of weather as i intend to shoot outside at some point whatever the weather.
3: Images may be used for portfolios as long as credited as being shot a my workshop
4: Please ask as many questions as you like as i am here to help.
5: Price includes coffee and biscuits on arrival and before we go on location. Please feel free to bring any additional food and drink you require.
