After Sunday evening broadcast by the Prime Minister, we remain just about the same here.
Weddings etc are still on hold until further notice which is very understandable.
We are working even harder behind the scenes to be ready to hit the ground running once we are allowed to do so.
As things stand we are happy to take location portrait bookings from 1st July and already have a number booked in the diary. Of course, should restrictions remain these dates will be honoured and moved. The same goes for any Headshots or Corporate photography we have in the diary and again we are taking bookings for shoots from July.
We are also taking wedding bookings for 2021 and beyond and have put together a package for smaller, less elaborate weddings. Please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements and, of course, any booked date that is postponed due to the pandemic will be honoured and moved wherever possible.
In the meantime there is not a lot we can do except to keep working hard and remaining positive while things that are out of our control run their course.

IN LIGHT OF BORIS JOHNSON’S ANNOUNCEMENT LAST MONTH, THAT ALL WEDDINGS ARE CANCELLED FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT THREE WEEKS, OR INDEFINITELY, UNTIL THEY CAN GET THIS VIRUS UNDER CONTROL, I WOULD LIKE TO REASSURE ALL OUR LOVELY CLIENTS THAT WE WILL CONTINUE TO HONOUR ALL MONIES PAID IF YOU ARE ABLE TO RESCHEDULE TO A DATE THAT I CAN COVER.
SO FAR WE HAVE HAD 11 WEDDINGS RE-SCHEDULED FOR LATER IN THE YEAR AND WE ARE SO PLEASED THAT WE HAVE BENE ABLE TO HELP FOLKS AT THIS WORRYING TIME.

HOW WE ARE TRYING TO HELP
I appreciate things are worrying at the moment re the virus so I thought i’d try to put our clients’ minds at rest.
As things stand we are all very well and have no reason to believe things will change.
In over 24 years and in excess of 1000 weddings covered, I have yet to miss one, although I have had to cover on a few occasions for colleagues for various reasons.
Obviously we are in the unknown and opinions differ regarding the media hysteria so here is our plan of action.
1: In light of these strange times, should you have to postpone your wedding due to Government restrictions that may come into force, I would be more than happy for you to move your date and I would honour all monies paid and the coverage would remain the same. Should your new date be in 2021, I would also be happy to honour the prices offered at the time of booking.
To us, this is the fairest way for everyone and should help relieve any extra anxieties the situation may, understandably, be causing you.
Obviously this assuming I am available for any new date, so PLEASE LIASE WITH ME BEFORE BOOKING A NEW DATE, should it come to that.
2: In the very unlikely situation that I wasn’t able to photograph your wedding through ill health, there is the option of one my close networking group of wedding photographer friends stepping at no cost to you, to ensure you have great photography. These aren’t your average part time photographer either. I have done this for a few of them in the past and as a close knit group we will work together.
In addition, a huge wedding photography online community that is run by our amazing album company, has published a private post where 100s of professional photographers (me included) have offered to give emergency cover should the worse happen. In either of these scenarios there would be no cost to you and should expenses be incurred by me having to offer a brilliant substitute, my professional insurance would cover everything.
I am sure everything will be ok and I have already taken steps to be as careful as possible and I am also avoiding large crowds etc whenever possible as you can’t be too careful.

IF YOU ARE BRIDE OR GROOM THAT HAS HAD TO MOVE YOUR WEDDING OR FOR ANY REASON HAS LOST THE SERVicES OF YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER.
If, due the COVID-19 crisis, you have had to move your wedding date, or if you have lost the services of your booked wedding photographer for any reason at all i.e. they not be free for your new date, I am still taking bookings for this year and the next 2. If I am free, I would be very happy to cover your wedding at our 2020 prices even if your date has been moved back to next year. I don’t have many dates free for the end of 2020 and understandably, 2021 is booking up fast, so please do not hesitate to call to discuss your requirements and i’ll see how I can help.
