I wanted to get in touch to say that I hope you and your friends and family are well in these difficult times. Its tough for us all and the only real option is to follow the safety guidelines and stick to them for the time being. Hopefully there will be a gradual and safe easing over the coming weeks. Haven’t the NHS and Key Workers been amazing?!!!
Of course, during such awful times, memories and family become ever more important. The pandemic has allowed us to reset and focus on what is truly important. Fortunately we are all well and as good as can be expected. Working hard behind the scenes on our business and then having our gorgeous Grandson Henry (above) living with us while his Dad works every hour going as a farmer. Then of course, we have our crazy pack of 3 Boston Terriers and Mr Baggins our old Miniature Schnauzer to keep us on our toes.
When Henry and our daughter Amelia move out to be together with Josh, as a family, this photograph of Henry and the 100s of others i’ve been taking, will be come even more precious! Like so many of you we have not seen close family or friends for 7 weeks or so. Our son Jacob and his lovely fiancee Tegan are still working hard but keeping away for obvious reasons and the same goes for our youngest daughter, Ruby who continues to work as a Teaching Assistant looking after Key Workers children at the local Primary School. Her boyfriend is also still working hard so sensibly they’ve kept contact to Facetime calls. We have been doing a weekly shop for my parents and next door neighbours who are self isolating for 12 weeks and we see Mum and Dad from a safe distance when we drop the shopping at their door. Its tough!
At times like these it makes you realise what’s important!
At present all weddings have been cancelled and we have had to postpone and move our poor clients’ big days to new dates either later in the year or to 2021. This we’ve been only too pleased to do to help them at what must be a distressing time for them and their families. Anything to help!
Like many we have even lost our holiday but at the end of the day, health is the most important thing. All this means that as restrictions are lifted, we will unfortunately have a pretty sparse diary until September. We are still happy to take bookings for weddings and have a pretty busy 2021 already.
As many know and others may not know, i’m also a multi award winning Portrait Photographer. You can see some of my work on my website here and, of course. on my Instagram and Facebook pages. Due the sheer volume of amazing weddings i am fortunate to shoot and the massive amount that comes with them, Portraits have always had to play second fiddle to them. Now i love shooting portraits of all kinds, be they relaxed and natural family sessions, Engagement Shoots, Headshots, Babies, Pets and Horses. Truly I have always loved photographing any style of Portrait so see this lull as a great opportunity to enjoy myself and create priceless memories for my clients, past, present and future.
I have always seen myself as a family photographer, providing unparalleled service for my clients, many who have become friends over the years. This opening in my diary is also going to allow me to give something to lift your spirits. I’m offering a fantastic experience of having you and you family’s portrait taken in the most relaxed and un manner you can imagine. With the restrictions of Lock Down lifted I would love to photograph you outside on location or at your or my home if this is permitted. Its the perfect time for families to come together and create precious memories to last a life time. And this is only the beginning because there is no reason why we can’t do this time and again over the years whenever you have a special time in your lives such as a new baby, Baptism, wedding or just to update the family photographs.
Its very rare for me to have time to shoot more than a handful of family portraits during the summer months!
So to get things moving and to help get families together I am offering a very special opportunity to you.
In this digital age, I am still a huge advocate of professional prints. An image is not a “photograph” until its been printed. Its just a piece of data. You can’t hang a digital file on the wall to view at anytime. With the way technology progresses so quickly you can’t guarantee that your DVD, CD or USB will even be viewable or work in a few years time!
High quality professional prints, Wall Art and Family Albums last a lifetime with the correct care. They are amazing to look back on with future generations and become priceless pieces of family history. I love going through old photographs that bring back memories, long since forgotten. There is nothing like a real photograph!
So we are offering you a gift of a PORTRAIT SHOOT and a 10″x8″ professional print of your choice for just £30 (normally £135.00) which covers the cost of the shoot fee and a 10″x8″ print. You are also very welcome to view all the images created and order any other Professional Prints, Wall Art, Family Albums that you wish at a 20% discount from our price list. This can be seen here.
This very special offer runs from July 1st to the end of August 2020 and to take advantage of this amazing opportunity please call 07590 983418 and quote the CODE “PPPSUMMER20”.
Please do not hesitate to call and book your session. We are taking provisional bookings from 1st July 2020 and will, of course, be observing all social distancing and safety recommendations at all time. Portraits on location mean that we can easily be apart at all times.
Our number is 07590 983418 and Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Payment is due at the time of booking but please don’t worry your money is safe and will be honoured for a new date should restrictions mean we are unable to shoot this summer.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message to you folks. Without our wonderful clients we wouldn’t be where we are today and this is hopefully a way to put a smile on your faces and allow you to support us at this very awkward time for us all.
Please keep safe and well.
Very best wishes,
Peter and Karen
