Asian Wedding Photographer East Sussex
I thought that I’d share some images from last week’s beautiful, intimate, Muslim Wedding that I was fortunate to be asked to cover in Crawley.
Hannah had seen my work previously but was due to be married to Hassan, in Tampa, USA. However the COVID-19 pandemic sadly put paid to her wedding plans. She decided on a much more intimate wedding, with the wedding ceremony being held at her local Mosque in Crawley.
Hannah had rediscovered me via NHS colleagues who had used me for their family portraits. We have been running a special family portrait promotion to local NHS staff and she decided to see if I was available at the last minute to be her wedding photographer.
Hassan and the guys looked resplendent on their arrival at the Mosque and then the ladies arrived. Hannah’s traditional wedding dress was simply stunning!
Watching and documenting the ceremony was fascinating. Then after the formal signing of the register, I photographed a few small family groups shots, before we headed to Hannah’s family home a couple of miles way.
What a stunning home it was too! After a few photographs of the newlyweds in their traditional attire, Hannah went inside to change in readiness for a small blessing that was to be held in her father’s back garden, by the river. He second wedding dress, was again stunning.
For the blessing we were joined by 6 of Hannah’s work colleagues and friends who enjoyed the food on offer afterwards. I slipped away after the cutting of their very special wedding cake.
I have put together a special Bespoke Collection for Intimate Weddings, so if you are planning one, please do not heistate to call on 07590 983418
