I’m very pleased to be able to share another Intimate Wedding that I shot at the amazing Ashdown Park Hotel in East Sussex. I’m very proud to be a recommended photographer at this very special venue. Its surely one of the finest wedding venues in the country!
Caroline and Tom had booked me to be their wedding photographer over a year beforehand and despite the considerable challenges around having a wedding in these worrying COVID days, they forged ahead with an Intimate Wedding for just a few very close friends and family. I have to say that the staff at the Hotel, ensured it all ran smoothly and safely, whilst helping to make sure Caroline and Tom had a very special day.
Firstly they had a small legal ceremony with just 2 witnesses and then after a short break a blessing for the rest of their guests.
Then followed a drinks reception by the summer house, overlooking the magnificent lake and parkland. I took the opportunity to capture some socially distanced family groups and then a few portraits of the couple before the wedding breakfast.
I left after the speeches and cake cutting but not before creating a couple of beautiful sunset shots of the couple.
