Dog Photography : Gus the Jack Russell Puppy
I love dogs! I really do and currently there are 3 beautiful ones allowing us to live in their home! Puppies are always extra special and, of course, very cute indeed.
Gus is a very tiny, 9 week old Jack Russell puppy. He came to meet us and we really enjoyed the cuddles and kisses from this gorgeous little guy. Gus is the first Jack Russell puppy that we have got close to and we nearly had to keep him here with our pack!
Due to him being so young, he was being carried in a sling bag to help with his early socialisation as he hadn’t had his full course of jabs. He wasn’t fazed at all and was very confident and super friendly.

Once he was back, safely nested in his carry sling, I was able to capture these sweet pictures of a very tired pup using just natural light on my trusty Fuji X-Pro 2 and my favourite 90mm f2 lens. This combination works perfectly for portraits. The lens image quality is superb and the X-Pro is perfect for my needs.
Both images of Gus, were shot with the lens wide open to really add dynamics to the low level window light and to enable the carry sling to work as a background.

With the latest raft of restrictions seemingly coming to an end, I will be available to take on portrait and wedding commissions from 12th April. You can book from now by calling 07590 983418 or completing the Enquiry Form on my website.
You can see my wedding and portrait portfolio on my website here and my current work on my Facebook and Instagram pages.
You can view and purchase wall art and fine art prints here.
**Of course until mid June these will have certain restrictions which I always follow.
